What is the best and cheapest way to post clothes in the UK, starting a new business, needs to be secure?
I’m starting a new business selling baby clothing. I would like help in finding out what the best and cheapest way would be to send clothes / items to UK addresses. Would like if I can get a proof of people receiving the items if at all possible. Please can you let me know. Thank you
To start with the Royal Mail is best. Recorded delivery from your local post office will get people receiving the goods to sign for them.
Or even using just the standard service would do. Standard post has an insured value of up to £39 without you having to do anything more than just get a proof of posting.
As your volumes increase talk to the royal mail and other couriers about signed for services and what discounts they can do for you. They should also offer a collection service so you don’t waste valuable selling time in a post office queue.
